Our farm in Hardwick, VT is the physical realization of everything we believe in and—more specifically—embodies the vision we want to share with those that take our CBD. That vision is simple: we want to grow and produce a product that does the most good possible for the most people. The important part of this vision, however, is to acknowledge that CBD is about far more than doing good for people alone. We take a holistic, whole planet approach with every step in our process, focusing on contributing to a sustainable future for the environment that inspires us to do good work every day.

Company Mission/Philosophy

At Sunsoil, we are on a mission to create affordable access to the best CBD products. Sunsoil was founded out of a desire to affect positive change through our products and our actions. To disprove the notion that price determines quality and to pioneer adifferent type of approach. When others make noise, we make strides in bringing this mission to life.

Founder Story/Management Team

Alejandro Bergad and Jacob Goldstein grew up together in Skyview Acres, a small progressive cooperative community in Rockland County, NY. After homesteading for seven years in Vermont, Alejandro moved to Colorado where he was involved in the early days of the CBD industry.

How and why do we offer the highest quality CBD at the most accessible price point? We pioneered a natural extraction process for hemp that yields a higher quality product at a lower cost. We are committed to creating more access for people, so we make it affordable.

Agriculture and Regenerative Practices

We organically farm our own hemp seeds in Vermont. Our farms, facilities and core ingredient ingredients are also USDA certified organic.

Sustainability and Social Initiatives

As a member of 1% for the Planet, Sunsoil annually donates 1% of its sales to environmental causes. Many of the initiatives we support relate to farming and the environmental causes because we take from the land and have a responsibility to give back to it. Our founders, family, and friends are farmers and that will always show in the value of the company.
