At Spinster Sisters, we are consciously choosing to do better. Better for people and better for the planet. We are committed to creating safe and gentle skin care products that benefit our consumers, our employees and the Earth. That mission leads us to use essential oils, minimally processed plant oils, and botanicals in our products; while avoiding sulfates, phthalates and parabens. We also incorporate biodegradable materials and sustainable processes.

We have humble beginnings. Kelly Perkins, our founder, began experimenting with soap making in her basement in 1993. Through trial and error she developed the recipes for each product herself and began giving them away as gifts to friends and family. Her love for making the highest quality products from ingredients with impeccable sourcing continued to grow and she soon realized that the products she was making were higher quality than nearly anything else on the market that she could buy.

Fast forward to 2012 when Kelly decided to go "all-in" on Spinster Sisters and opened her first store front in Golden, CO with an attached production space. The Spinster Sisters brand quickly grew to service over 2,000 boutique shops across the country. Our growth has been exciting, but we always refer back to our mission of doing better for people and the planet first.
